Question: I have a random history of elevated liver enzymes ,my sgpt at times stays at 55-60 the mAximum normal range is 45!
I started having some protein isolate since two months and got my test done today, which showed a high level of sgpt?
What could be the cause!!
Last time in january also i think i was eating this and in the test the level was high, and when i left it after 2 months the level was fine?even i notice that my lympocytes are little high, even in the last report they were!!
Please suggest?

Brief Answer:
Take isolates only if you do the regular workout.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I've reviewed the reports,

Minimum three times the normal elevation of liver enzymes has any significance.Mild variation of enzymes has no clinical significance and is a normal finding.

Your reports are clinically normal.
Mild increase in a particular type of blood cell or liver enzyme in an otherwise normal patient has no significance.

Protein isolates if pure has nothing to do with your liver. Try to take an international brand like optimum nutrition or Myprotein and make sure that they are genuine.

As of now you can take-
Silibinin, also known as silybin, which is the major active constituent of silymarin, a standardized extract of the milk thistle seeds, containing a mixture of flavonolignans consisting of silibinin, isosilibinin. It should be taken two times a day. It's a very potent liver rejuvenator and is very effective in maintaining liver health.

It's not required yet it's beneficial and there is no harm in taking these extracts.

Ayurvedic tablet Liv-52 should be taken once daily.

But my suggestion is that as per your age its normal so don't panic about it.

Hope I was helpful.
Please feel free to ask further queries.

Wish you a great day ahead.

Brief Answer:
You are normal.

Detailed Answer:
Beer can cause this but taking 500ml of beer in a week is safe.
If you were my patient i would have labeled you as normal .
Keep taking whey isolates.
Good luck.
