Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

I am not sure what you mean by the drugs "stillpain and brezipam". Could you perhaps mean "stilpane and brazepam"?

In that case it is true that withdrawal may increase chance of seizures. That is why it is important that the withdrawal process is gradual not abrupt. In terms of treatment, for the seizures treatment is usually initiated by a neurologist not a psychiatrist, so does not need psychiatric treatment. A psychiatrist may counsel on the manner of withdrawal and the symptoms, but medication is not necessarily instituted for that purpose (unless there are issues of chronic depression or anxiety).

As for the seizures themselves I would not advise treatment for the moment. One single seizure is not an indication for treatment, only if repeated episodes.

Regarding the confusion, it may be present for some hours after the seizures, however if it persists or is increasing then he should be evaluated for the possibility of metabolic changes (some routine blood tests are needed) as well as for other causes such as stroke.

I remain at your disposal for other questions.
