Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
Although zolpidem is one of the safest medication among sleeping pills but I feel there is lot more which can be done before shifting to sleeping pills. In addition we should not forget that it is prescription only medication among most of countries and it is better if it is used after physically consulting doctor.
Having said this I feel you should use every possible means to manage your stress. There is long list of Do's and DONT's but we can do at least following thing.
1. eating Healthy
2. Plenty of fluid intake
3. Avoidance of late night awakening
4. Reducing screen time
5. Antioxidants in form of supplements
6. Regular physical exercise
7. Meditation and yoga
These simple measures could be the only requirement to make you sleep while undergoing caregiver burden and business stress.
I hope this assists you.
