Question : I notice that i get kind of unstable when i pass my lunch hour. for instance today and yesterday , i didnt eat a lot for breakfast at like 9am then i had a delayed lunch till like 3pm . I will feel abit of weakness. feels like i am not walking straight and feel really tired. I dont think is dizzy more like my body is weak and i feel like i can just fall alsseeep . I feel abit better after eating but i won't eat a lot cause i will keep passing gas. I dont know is it cause i ate a late meal . I will feel like that until dinner at 8pm and still feel abit unsteady a couple hours after dinner. Is this cause for concern ? I do feel hungry though when i have these "attacks" but not severely hungry . but it is pass my lunch time but i never had such problem before. only like this week. I had a pretty rough and stressful and sleepless week last week. Thought i should have recovered by now.

Brief Answer:
It is important to manage and reduce your stress levels.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

Your symptoms, in my opinion, can be attributed to hypoglycemia.
Non-diabetic hypoglycemia , a rare condition, is low blood glucose in people who do not have diabetes.

Glucose is the main source of energy for your body and brain. It comes from what we eat and drink. If your glucose level is too low, you might not feel well.

There are two kinds of non-diabetic hypoglycemia:
Reactive hypoglycemia, which happens within a few hours of eating a meal
Fasting hypoglycemia, which may be related to a disease.

You have the symptoms after eating dinner so, you might have reactive hypoglycemia. This condition refers to low blood sugar that occurs after a meal — usually within four hours after eating. This is different from low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) that occurs while fasting. Signs and symptoms of reactive hypoglycemia may include hunger, weakness, shakiness, dizziness, sleepiness and anxiety(you have most of these symptoms).

For the majority of people, reactive hypoglycemia usually doesn't require medical treatment. Don't worry, it is not a cause for concern. It may help, however, to pay attention to the timing and composition of your meals.

For the weakness during the day,the cause can be the long period of time without eating and of course the stress.

Your doctor can diagnose non-diabetic hypoglycemia by reviewing your symptoms, doing a physical exam, looking at your risk for diabetes, and checking your blood glucose level. Your doctor will also see whether you feel better after you eat or drink to raise your glucose to a normal level.

My advises for you are:

-Eating small meals and snacks throughout the day, eating about every three hours
-Eat a well-balanced diet, including lean and non-meat sources of protein, and high-fiber foods, including whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
-Avoid sugary foods, especially on an empty stomach.
-Be sure to eat food if you're consuming alcohol, and avoid using sugary soft drinks as mixers.
-Eat several small meals and snacks throughout the day, no more than three hours apart during the waking hours.

Another very important think is : try to manage and reduce your stress, because it can have harmful effects in your health or exacerbate your problems.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Wish you good health.

Brief Answer:
Stress and irregular eating schedule is the cause of your actual problems.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear

In my opinion the stress of last week and irregular eating schedule is the culpit of all your actual health problems.

When you eat meals at different times rather than on a regular schedule, your body goes into stress mode. For example, when you eat breakfast at 7 a.m. one morning and 11 a.m. the next, your body becomes confused about where its next meal is coming from. This causes the secretion of the stress hormone cortisol. High levels of cortisol lead to spikes in insulin, which causes low blood sugar and in this moments you feel weakness, dizziness and sleepiness.

So, I suggest to follow my advises of our last discussion:

-Eating small meals and snacks throughout the day, eating about every three hours
-Eat a well-balanced diet, including lean and non-meat sources of protein, and high-fiber foods, including whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
-Avoid sugary foods, especially on an empty stomach.
-Be sure to eat food if you're consuming alcohol, and avoid using sugary soft drinks as mixers.
-Eat several small meals and snacks throughout the day, no more than three hours apart during the waking hours.

Try to manage the stress (this is very important) and don't worry you're too young and healthy girl, so you can beat the stress easily.

Hope this information is helpful.
If you have other doubts you can ask me a direct question and i'll be happy to help.
Wish you a very good health.
Best regards.
