Suggest Ways To Manage Withdrawal Symptoms After Stopping Cymbalta Cold Turkey

Question: Hi. I recently came off of Cymbalta cold turkey, and thought I was past the withdrawals (brain zaps, feeling terrible, unable to get out of bed for a few days, etc). Over the Labor Day weekend, I consumed a lot of alcohol with friends. I woke up about four days ago feeling like I had a stroke almost. Very disoriented, confused, etc. i had also taken an over-the-counter sleep aid. It seemed to have really triggered something terrible in my brain. I spent two days drinking a lot of water, broth, eating, etc. I could hardly even walk. I have even been hearing faint music constantly that is not really playing. Am I in some sort of serotonin syndrome?

Hello
Thanks for the query
I understand that you stopped Cymbalta all of a sudden and recently you consumed a lot of alcohol and on the same night you also took a sleeping aid. Now you are weak, confused, disoriented, etc.
I need a few more details in order to help you
1. When did you come of Cymbalta exactly?
2. Did you wake up on the next day of drinking feeling normal and then you slowly developed this tiredness or have you been this way right from the labor day weekend ?
3. Are you on any other regular medications ?
4. How many days has it been since you last drank?
Please get back to me, I am awaiting your reply
