Question: I am concerned about my periods...I have a occasion on 14th of this month which would last for about a month...I had my last month mensus on 14th of October...I could not delay my mensus for that occasion for about a month....could u please suggest me an alternative....is there any medicine that I can prepone my mensus

Yes dear indeed it is possible and can be easily managed by taking withdrawal medication for periods.
Take tablet norethisterone 5 mg three times a day for 3 days and on leaving the same you will get periods in 3-5 days and then you will be free for almost a month.
In case you still need to postpone it further then take norethisterone 5 mg twice a day from 3 days prior to the date of expected period till you want to postpone the same.

Yes irregular periods can be due to thyroid problems.
