Brief Answer:
Safe period has to be calculated

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Safe days for intercourse (non fertile days) are calculated on the basis of the length of the menstrual cycle of the female partner. It is calculated as follows:
Shortest cycle length-18 to longest cycle length-10 : this period is fertile period and is unsafe, the remaining days of the cycle are safe for intercourse.
Generally, the 8th to 21st day of the menstrual cycle counting from first day is considered as fertile period or the UNSAFE period.
Days other than this are considered SAFE, that is, the 1st-7th day of the cycle and then again from the 22nd to the 28th day.
However, this method has a high failure rate, around 20%, and can result in pregnancy.
Please do get back to me with your partner's cycle length (the range) so that I can give you the approximate answer.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
Regards,
Dr Deepti Verma.

Brief Answer:
safe period calculated

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for responding. If she has a consistent 28 days cycle, then the unsafe period is from Day 10 to day18, the first day of periods counted as day 1. The day 1-9 and day 19-28 are safe and have very low chances of conception.
However, this method has high failure rate, as I have mentioned earlier.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you both good health.

Dr Deepti Verma
