Brief Answer:
as explained in details.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
To recapitulate: Male/59 - wants to know what to do if toilet paper is stuck in rectum.
This depends upon the following factors:
- Since when has this happened?
- How much is the paper that was in? Just a small bit or a long one?
- Any symptoms do you have?

I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Try to pass a bowel motion.
If not possible, take a ready-made enema and see if the paper passes out in the bowel movement.
If not consult a Surgeon at ER or per-rectal digital examination and proctoscopy to see if it is still there and to get it removed.
Do not worry. Do not have stress and do not strain much.

I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to give feedback, feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
