You can stop effexor after 1 week

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

If I were your treating doctor I will add brintellix 5 mg to effexor 75 and after 4th day I will reduce effexor to 37.5 mg and after 4 days I will stop effexor completely.

And during this week I would like to monitor your symptoms as both drug may interact and can cause increase serotonin level up to toxic level.However at this low dose rare possibility is there of such problem.
