Brief Answer:
May tale 1 to 2 weeks for absorption

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms XXXXXXX

The lesion over the thigh is likely to be Hematoma. Hematoma is presence of clotted blood in the subcutaneous and intramuscular layers
It slowly undergoes liquefaction and get reabsorbed back. This process may tale 1 to 2 weeks depending on size.
If there is no breach in overlying skin it rarely gets infected. Local application of hot water fomentation and anti inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen will be helpful.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care
