Question : Hello, so I’m 25 years old male, recently had unprotected anal sex while using meth, I got a little carried away and I somewhat injured my self, I felt pain and had to stop for that brief moment, now 24 hours later I’ve been coming down off the meth, haven’t been able to sleep or eat, no steady erection and constipation, and I recently tried using the restroom and I pushed real hard cause I’m constipated and I started haveing pains in my groin , lower back, and bottom area , looked up what it could be and came to conclusion I have Prostatitis, but most symptoms are also symptoms of meth, any advice, suggestions, anything? Kind of scared

Any urinary symptoms like burning urination, dribbling, feeling of obstruction while urinating?
What are the symptoms that you think this is prostatitis?
Any fever and chills?

Any other history please.

My main question/concern is do I have what seems to be Prostatitis or did i injure something in my rectum that is causing the pain mixed with the symptoms of the drugs that are making me feel this way

Brief Answer:
As discussed

Noted your feedback.
To answer your specific queries:
With prostatitis there will be urinary symptoms as mentioned like burning and difficulty in urination. There can be constitutional symptoms of malaise, fever, chills and pain is usually situated in pelvis area. Passing stool may cause pain at a certain point in front of rectal area. Since you have no urinary symptoms and no constitutional symptoms, this may not be prostatitis.
There is more probability of internal injury.
And in this case it is better to get examined if the symptoms persist. This will confirm the diagnosis too.
As you have mentioned about full insertion, this might cause pain in the anus area, particularly while passing stool or can be felt as continuous dull ache.
Plus the effects of meth and withdrawal, hence you can have varied symptoms.
First of all you should take plenty of liquids to have normal hydration and have absolutely normal diet to have normal motion.
Take a stool softener for easy passage of stool.
Have keen observation about the symptoms and consult a Doctor if the problems persist.

I hope this answers your queries.
Take care.
