Question : I was wondering, I take 15mg of ritalin IR daily. I have been taking it for about a month and a half. Can taking this drug cause heart damage? Thanks.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
Ritalin is methylphenidate which is psychostimulant drug.
Therefore few studies on long term complication.
Some angina and hypertension may occur on longterm use in some patients.
