Question : hi i am pregnent ...i used to take glycomet 500mg before pregnency..can i continue the same after pregnency?

Thanks for the query.

Glycomet contains metformin.
You can continue to take Glycomet in pregnancy.
Metformin during pregnancy reduces chances of miscarriage, gestational diabetes and pregnancy induces high blood pressure.

So i recommend you to continue taking Gylcomet.
Here are few suggestions for pregnancy.
1. Continue taking folic acid.
2. Diet XXXXXXX in calcium and iron.Avoid sweets and fried food.
3. Moderate exercise.
4. Stress free and healthy lifestyle.
