Question : I am taking gemer1 in empty stomach one tab daily and feeling very uneasy. may I take it before principal meal at night?

Hi,

Thanks for the query.

Gemer 1 contains glimipiride 1mg.It is a long acting anti-diabetic drug.
It's action lasts for 24 hrs hence you can take it at any time once in a day.

But timing should be same for every day.

It has been prescribed during day time to avoid night time hypoglycemia during peak time of drug action.

Hence better if you continue it during day time.You can take it before lunch.
