Taking Thyroid Tablets. Taking Warm Water With Lemon And Honey. Will It Nullify The Effect Of Medication?

Question : Hello Doctor,
Daily morning i take thyroid tablets(Thyrox-50). After an hour gap i take warm water with lemon and honey. Please advice if lemon-honey water is right to consume after taking thyroid tab or will it nullify the medicine effect ??

Taking honey and lemon one after taking thyroid tablets wont have any effect on absorption of thyroid tablets. You can safely do it. Remember not to take coffee or milk immediately after taking thyroid tablets. If you are taking calcium or iron tablets there has to be a 4 hour gap between them and thyroid tablets.
