Question : The other night I was walking and felt a slight pop in my left foot...there is no pain when I rest off my foot but their is slight pain when I walk and when I bend my foot, closing my toes, about an inch or two below the big toe. What could this be?
Brief Answer:
simple injury or first sign of arthritis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I think the pain may be traumatic due to an uncontrolled movement injury.
There is a possibility that it may be sign of arthritis if it is accompanied by swelling, a bump is formed , you feel pain when active and develop stiffness and inability to bent it.
Your doctor may perform an x-ray of toe see the joint.
You can use *ice packages
*ibuprofen for pain and inflammation
* cold and warm baths alternatively to reduce inflammation
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks
