Question : There is a MOLE on my head. Shape of the mole is uneven. Size of the mole is equal to a gram. Approximately 1cm. Is there any thing serious about it. What is the procedure to remove it without operation? I am sending you pictures of it. Please have a look and suggest me if inything serious about it.

Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and viewed the image.

I can see a skin colored, rough looking raised lesion. It is a wart. Not a mole. Wart is an infection caused by a virus - Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). It has to be removed. I would suggest that you get it removed with a Laser or a Cautery machine under local anesthesia. The whole process is very minor and would hardly take 5-10 minutes.

Hi.
A wart is an infection. So, it can certainly spread to form more warts. You can also pass the infection to others by sharing combs, towels etc. Though some warts may resolve on it's own by body's own immunity, specially smaller ones, but this being a bigger wart it is better if you get it removed at the earliest.
