This Is A Very Silly Question, I 'may' Have Noticed

Question: This is a very silly question, I 'may' have noticed some hair loss on my toes, although they still retain some hair. I've read on the net that this could be a sign of poor circulation or vascular disease.

I've very fit, run about 5 days a week. I have low blood pressure and low cholesterol (3.2) I'm a vegetarian and never smoked. There is no numbness in my feet or dis-colouration or flaky skin. Am I just being paranoid? I'm 57 years old

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service...

I have gone through your query and loss of hair on the toes is not a sign of poor circulation or any vascular disease.

It is a normal phenomenon that can occur in normal healthy individuals.

I don’t think it is anything serious.
