Brief Answer:
Please elaborate.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for letting us know your health concern.

I have gone through your query and would like to know some more information.

1. When did your daughter attain menarche?
2. Were her cycles regular with normal flow prior to this disturbance?
3. Did she experience any stress, sudden weight changes, infections etc., in the recent years?
4. Is she on any kind of medication?
5. Did she have any check up or investigation and if so, please upload reports.

Temporary control of continuous bleeding can be had by using styptics and if there is no response, a course of hormones may be used under medical supervision.

Nutritional supplements are needed to correct deficiencies and infections should be detected and treated if necessary. Practice a healthy lifestyle and maintain proper genital hygiene.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Brief Answer:
Please get further evaluation at the earliest.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing back.

Can you please give the details of the medication received and results of investigation, if you think are relevant to your situation?

Since you are losing weight without any change in lifestyle, further evaluation is necessary. This sudden weight change in itself can lead to hormone imbalance and irregular periods.

Please get a complete evaluation and given the current scenario, you can use telephonic consultation with your health care provider for planning further management.

Hope your query has been clarified. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Hello,

Thanks for writing again.

Please let me know what was your prescription and diagnosis in your past consultation. Also, please upload reports if any or quote the results of any investigations done.

I would suggest a proper clinical examination, a complete blood picture, hormone assay, sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route and urinalysis. Further management can be planned accordingly.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing again.

I have already mentioned earlier the tests required in this context. I have asked for the upload of reports and previous prescriptions, if possible. I cannot suggest any medication without knowing your case in detail.

You can use styptics to help decrease the bleeding. Please contact your health care provider and ask for help.

Hope this helps.

regards,
Shanti.V.
