Question : My 2.3 year old weighing around 12.5-13 kgs was prescribed Tminic syrup 2.5ml/thrice a day. By mistake, the second dose of the day was given as a double dose of nearly 5 ml. Hes been active for an hour since. Is there anything i can do? Should i be worried?

Hi,

5ml of Tminic syrup(contains 2mg CPM and 5mg Phenylephrine) wont be of that dangerous to a 13kg child. Nothing to worry. She may feel a bit sleepy for a while. Nothing to be worried. Just skip next dose- thats all.
