To Whom This May Concern, I Am Almost 100% Sure

Question: To whom this may concern,

I am almost 100% sure I have a Uterine prolapse. I noticed it about 10 months ago and now it's gotten so much worse. I believe it's stage two prolapse (my cervix is really low). In the past few months I've also noticed that I could possible have bladder and rectum prolapse as well. Not sure who to contact. I currently don't have a family doctor and have never been to a Gyneacologist. I've been Googling a lot and got some info on possible treatments. At this moment I think surgery would be the best option for me . I really want to see a doctor and get some sort of a solution. This is a really uncomfortable situation to discuss so I don't want to go the emergency room and explain everything at the front desk. I was Hoping to get an estimate of how long I would be on the wait list before i could get surgery, hypothetically speaking if I got approved for one. I also wanted to know the price of these surgeries . Any extra info would be great as well. Thank you in advance and hope to hear from you soon.

( I live in Edmonton, Alberta)

I dont want to try any other options besides surgery. im well aware I need to go see a doctor soon but im 1000% sure I have multiple prolapses. I just really want some answers before I see a doctor. How long does the average person have to wait to get the surgery after their initial doctors appointment? I know it must vary per person but Im just looking for an estimate time line. I also wanted to know if everything would go back to normal (as in before I had theses prolapses) after surgery or is there still going to be a noticable change in my body? Im only 21 and I dont want this to effect my personal life any longer.
I do plan on having kids in my early 30s and i know its recommend to wait after your done having children. But i dont want this to have control over my life anymore. Please get back to me as soon as possible thank you. :)

Brief Answer:
The first priority should be completing your family.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting us about your healthcare.

I have gone through your history in detail and understand your concern fully.

As you have already discussed your issue with dr XXXXXXX and she had already answered your concern, I also agree with her advice because if you want to kids in future, hysterectomy is not the option for you ( as it is the best treatment in your condition).

In my opinion, you should go for gynaecological examinations to see the degree of prolapse, as well as well other organ's descending (it will decide your treatment).

In your situation first, go for repair surgery and then think about hysterectomy (uterus removal surgery).

Hope you found this useful, feel free to ask for more information.

Good luck
Regards

In my original question I was referring to repair surgery only. I don't think I would need a hysterectomy and defiantly wouldn't get one. I want to know the cost of repair for all three prolapses (bladder, rectum and uterus) and an estimated timeline from the initial examination to the XXXXXXX possible wait time before I could get the surgeries done. Just really want to know how many months could it possibly take to resolve these prolapses if I was to go see a doctor tomorrow. One? two? three? four? Im not looking for an exact number because i know it varies, just an estimate. Ive been googling a lot and know theres plenty of different surgery options to repair prolapses in 2018. I know I need surgery for 100% (my cervix is basically outside my body) and plan on scheduling an appointment once I get back to town from work in a week or so. Thank you for your help so far and hope to hear from you soon.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry dear for such a long delay in my response.
