Question : I have been told that I am enemic. What are some of things I can do to reverse it. My blood count is down in the low 30's. I haven't seen any blood in my stool. What do you recommend. Help. I would like to turn this around quickly. XXXXXXX C.

Thanks for asking.

There are various causes of anemia:

Nutritional- deficiency of iron, b12, and folic acid
Anemia of chronic diseases- like in hypothyroidism,rheumatoid arthritis etc.
Blood loss
worm infestation
alcoholism
drugs like methotrexate

All these causes singly or in combination can lead to anemia .

You need to under go some investigations to see what exactly is the cause and the treatment will depend upon the cause.
