Question : I had and was cured of thyroid cancer at age 36. Am I at an increases risk of different types of cancer later in life?

Thanks for your query.

No, you may not be in risk of other cancers but yes, there is risk of recurrence of thyroid cancer if the complete thyroid gland is not excised or cancer not completely cured to the root level.
