Two Weeks Ago, I Received Oral Sex That Was Very

default
Posted on Sun, 7 Oct 2018
Question: Two weeks ago, I received oral sex that was very rough. Meaning the person sucked very hard and stroked my penis very roughly during that time. My penis was actually sore from it. The very next day I had a very large semen like discharge in my underwear. Everything was fine but now Yesterday I had another discharge and leakage. I know this sounds like and STI but due to the fact that the first “symptom” occurred within hours of receiving the oral sex, I felt like it wasn’t likely. Could it be something else?

Brief Answer:
I think you should exclude chlamydia and gonorrhea.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor".
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You should know that getting oral sex on the penis from a partner with gonorrhea or chlamydia, in the throat may result in getting these infections of the penis.
Based on your symptom, having discharge and leakage, even if to early (within hours after oral sex) I think you should exclude first chlamydia and gonorrhea.
So, if the tests results of these infections are negative you should see for other causes like medications side effects, prostate problem or nerve injury.

Hope I have answered your query.
Feel free to ask me further.
Regards.

Thank you for your response. I am planning to get tested for sure. What I am wondering about is the likelihood that it would present itself immediately for 24 hours and then disappear for 2 weeks and come back as the same symptom of semen leakage? I thought is an STI shows symptoms then they be present until cured instead of once in 2 weeks. In some way I hope it’s an STI and not something bigger but hoping for some piece of mind until I see my doctor.
