Question : Two weeks ago my toes on one foot started to have a burning sensation . It's not constant and does not seem to be a problem when I wear my cowboy boots. In sneakers and when shoeless the burning is a much bigger problem. When non-weight bearing the sensation is mostly absent. Thank you for your time.

The burning sensation in the toes can be related to mild nerve root irritation at the level of the lower spine. This can also be related to low levels of vitamin B12. You need to start with back strengthening exercises and get the serum levels checked and start with suitable supplements if needed.
