Question : Can you please explain what Negative T wave (anterior) mean ? I underwent ECG yesterday and the interpretation mentioned above finding. Please explain and if this is a life threatening condition. The measurements of P R & S intervals are within the range. The QRS intervals are also within the range then what does Negative T wave signify

                                    Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic
T wave indicates re-polarisation – recovery from electrical activation.
It is highly variable – may be normal / non-specific / or significant
It has several reasons from electrolytes, conduction, chamber enlargement, ischemia and so on
It is normally inverted in V1, V2, at times V3...
Anterior leads are V1 to V6...
It should be interpreted in relation to the total clinical picture
In case of doubt, ECHOcardiogram and/or Exercise ECG is often necessary...
Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
