Urge For Frequent Urination, Fever And Pain While Urination

Question: urgency to urinate very frequently from last week.. never had any other problem recently.. except couple of weeks back got fever for 2 days and thats it..

i feel a very little pain after urinating..

You have got a urinary tract infection (UTI) for whatever reason. UTI is common enough in sexually active females. In males however, it is far less common and always has to be taken seriously.

For a start you will need a urinalysis and urine culture to identify the bug. Ask your health care provider for a sterile container for you to collect what's called a 'mid stream urine sample'. This will at least identify the bacteria and suggest the appropriate antibiotic treatment.

But that's only for starters. You may then need further tests to ascertain why you got this infection in the first place. It is a bit of a "journey" but chances are that you will be fine and that there is nothing too serious underlying this UTI of yours.
