Question : User Problem title : XXXXXXX selby

have had three treatments of BCG. this med is now on backorder nation wide. Am I likely to be in danger of tumor regrowth if not restarted shortly. If I restart in a month do I need to start all over with 6 more treatments? Is there another Chemo that will do the same job as BCG?

Brief Answer:
BCG

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking

There is not danger for you to wait for other BCG treatment.
A person will usually have BCG immunotherapy once per week for 6 weeks. A doctor may recommend another 6 weeks of BCG if they feel it is required.

The 2 injection of BCG will not be replaced, you will continue the therapy planned by your doctor

At the moment for your case it’s the treatment of choice
