Thank you for asking a question.
Firstly, from your symptoms, it is clear that you were suffering from upper sometimes experience this sort of dry cough.
You have told that you have taken clavum for 5 days. Clavum contains amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. It is a great drug. But, for a complete action you have to wait for 2 to 3 more days after completion of the drug.
You can continue the drug for 2 more days. Normally, we give this drug as 625 mg three times a day. If you continue it, then you should continue it as per the prescription of your treating doctor.
For the dry cough, you should take an expectorant syrup like grilinctus. Take 2 tsf twice daily.
You can also take a multivitamin agent.
You should take a nutritious diet containing fresh fruits.

So, you can take the clavum 625 mg for 2 more days. Dosing and frequency should be according to the prescription of the treating doctor.
