Question : Vascular surgeon prescribed Santyl a month ago for lesion on my shin; I last saw them 10/24 & I couldn’t see any change in healing, was set up for another appointment in 2 weeks. Meanwhile I’m experiencing redness/pain around lesion enough to wake me up several times while sleeping last night & I’m worried infection around the wound is getting worse.

It's no wonder you have pain. You have an angry looking infected ulcer on your leg.
You must not wait for the return appointment. You MUST receive medical care now!
Call your vascular surgeon and tell the nurse your condition has worsened and you have to be seen today. If your surgeon is not available then have a family member or friend drive you to the ER.
