Long time side effects of thyroidectomy can be bleeding, infection , hoarseness caused by the damage of laryngeal nerves .
It may also cause increased calcium levels in. blood.
Using levothyroxine may result in high blood pressure, irregular rhythm, heart pain, tremors. It is necessary after a thyroidectomy.,
