Question : hi, today i took 1 tylenol 500mg. when i took it it fel like it went up instead of down. it kind of feelsl ike its stuck in the top of my mouth or in nasal cavity. is this something i need to go to the hospital about? should i be concerned about it disolving to fast and it being toxic?
Brief Answer:
please dont worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Please dont worry , it is not likely that the tablet may have gone up , rather there must have been some reflux , especially if you would have taken a deep breath while swallowing the tablet or taken the tablet too fast.
The feeling that you are getting must be due to a swelling behind the nose due to the reflux and will settle down in 1-2 days , you dont have to worry.
Tylenol is a very safe drug is not likely to cause any reaction or toxicity.
Rest assured!
Take care!
