Wanted To Know Whether Fever Erupts More After Intake Of This Antibiotic?

Question : Dr. I am 57 and have sero negative arthiritis & uticaria since 3 years. On steroids (omnacortil 5 mg per day) and joint pain comes once in a way. Also taking medication for uticaria from a skin doctor.
Now since three days this joint pain and rashes have again erupted resulting in mild fever - 99.0 F. to 100.0 F. I self quarantined myself only with these symptoms - no cough, cold, sore throat etc. Unable to contact my physician so started taking Dolo 650 thrice a day. Mainly wanted to know 1) if I can take Cifran 500 mg 1-0-1 for 7 days to get cured. I had taken this antibiotic way back in 2017 when I had these same symptoms. And
2) wanted to know whether fever erupts more after intake of this anti biotic . I am allergic to penincillin
3) Any medication you feel is right ?

yes you may take cifran

Detailed Answer:

I think anti biotic can be taken if there are symptoms of infection,it will not cause any allergy related to penicillin.
it may be a simple viral fever too, so dolo will work to keep the symptoms down.
rest hcqs 200 mg may be taken twice a day as it will work for the symptoms of arthritis also.
rest vitamin C, zinc and vitamin D must be supplemented.
