Question : I am 54, 6' 155lb quit smoking 10 years ago, drink a beer a month, Exercise 30 to 60 mins every night at 9-10 . Had soft stool for over a year, some times get gas and a clear mucas is expelled , just had a day of cramps every 45 mins then expelled brown to clear water. had colonosipy two years ago, two pallups removed.

If there was just one episode of watery stools, its probably due to an infection. The source could be food related especially when associated with the cramps.
If these loose motions continue, then you will need a course of antibiotics.
A stool culture test is also required to confirm the cause.
Prolonged diarrhea can indicate a underlying gastrointestinal system pathology. It could be due to fever or blood in stools, then you need to be evaluated.
Avoid a high fatty diet.
