Question : Welcome to 'Ask a Doctor'. Please type your question here...I have Cilia dysfunction which means my immune system does NOT work! What precautions should I take with all that going on? Should I keep going to work and risk catching the virus?

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I don't think you should go to work in this situation but get self isolated at home.
You have a ciliar dysfunction which increases the risk of having frequent respiratory infections through inability of lungs to remove agents through cilia.
Also taking count that you are coughing, wheezing, sneezing you may be at risk for yourself and also may transmit it to others.
Meanwhile call emergency and ask for a test for coronavirus.

Is this site possible to write and email me a not effort work so that I can stay quarantined but still get paid? I don't have a regular doctor to ask and am to afraid to go to hospital (where germs are) to get one!
