Question : Hello 50 ur old here I woke up with theratic back pain in right side I have had this before but not sure what is causing this I have taken all my vitals and they are normal just wondering what I should do
Brief Answer:
Several possibilities, further examination is necessary.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have read your question.
It is necessary to get evaluated further for your pain.
That location of the pain may be linked to muscular pain, pleurisy, or gallbladder dysfunction.
To narrow the possible diagnosis is necessary to see your Doctor and to undergo imaging tests such as ultrasound of the abdomen and x-rays of your thorax initially.
Treatment depends on the diagnosis, for the pain you can use ibuprofen for example.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Thanks for the additional info.
In this case, the problem seems to arise from the cervical and thoracic vertebral column, (spondylosis, herniated disc, etc.).
In this setting, an MRI of your cervical and thoracic spine is necessary for a correct diagnosis.
Discuss with your Doctor these issues.
Feel free to ask if you have further questions.
