the test has a few percentages of false positives anyway. This is true of the standard IMMUNOASSAY method that is quite similar to home pregnancy tests (but less accurate).

1) there is a significant false positive rate even when you DON't Take those drugs
2) the better mass spec test doesn't have as many flaws.
I am not sure about hair testing because the decongestants are really similar to methamphetamine. I think you probably have to have cut off values that overlap between decongestants and very rarely used very low levels of methamphetamine being indistinguishable, but I am not sure. A retest of the SAME SAMPLE with the mass spect test (which might be 300 bucks but, worth it) will rule out false positives.
