Brief Answer:
This is a small margin

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

the ideal margin is 10mm but margins larger than 2mm can be considered acceptable. The pathologist will help to determine whether the margin is clear of disease or not. Lower margins are associated with increased rates of recurrence.

The aforementioned information is global medical knowledge and should not be different in any country. Please remember that doctors are not obliged to conform to medical guidelines, if they can back their view with reasonable arguments.

Kind Regards!
