Question : What are paraspinal soft tissues of the neck and top of spine? That are not cancerous and how do they affect the body?

Paraspinal tissue is a term used for the identification of the tissues that surround the spinal cord except the vertebrae or the bones.

These are mainly muscles, tendons, fat tissue, vessels, etc.

In rare cases, tumors may arise from these soft tissue components, but is not your case.

If the spine suffers from degenerative changes these paraspinal soft tissue may be inflamed, contracted, causing pain, discomfort, bad posture, etc.

Has you can see I uploaded mri reports just now. When it says cervical spine paraspinal soft tissues benign and thoratic spine paraspinal soft tissues benign does that mean tumors yes or no ?
