Question : My classmate has a lymphnode biopsy and is scheduled for surgery in the am. He decided to do a few lines of cocaine . What are the risks?

There should be no major issues after cocaine if the lymphnode biopsy is done under local anesthesia.

However, its best to avoid cocaine as it is a powerful vasoconstrictor. It can increase the chances of bleeding from surgical site.
