Hello,
Thanks for your query.

Psychotropics herbs are herbs which is used to treat psychological problems like: stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia and psychosis.

Example of commonly used psychotropic herbs are: Ma huang, St. John's wort, and kava

The use of psychotropic herbs has increased over the past few years. Patients and physicians may assume these products are safe; however, psychotropic herbs are not subject to the rigorous testing required for prescription medications.

Problems that may occur with the use of psychotropic herbs include overuse or abuse, side effects, and herb-drug interactions. So, do not take them without supervision and mental status examination by physician.

I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. In case of any doubt, I will be available for follow ups.

Wish you good health.
