Question : I stepped on a rake and it hit my cheekbone and now I have a large knot there. what are the symptoms I should look for to see if I should go to the emergency room?

If you lost your consciousness, have nausea with vomiting,have swalloving difficulties or vision disorders then you should see doctor. Otherwise,just apply cold compresses, rest,take nonsteroid painkillers and eat more liquid food in next 2 days. Wish you good health.regards
