Question : i HIT MY ELBOW ON A METAL BAR STOOL. CAN THAT HURT YOUR ELBOW? i CAN BEND IT WITH NO PAIN.

It is possible to have injury from any form of trauma but if injury to the soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, nerves and surrounding tissues) or bone had occurred , you would have pain and issues with movement.
If you do not have any discomfort or any limitation of movement then it is unlikely that you have any injury.
If you do experience some pain or tenderness, it is likely due to minor soft tissue injury which can be treated by using pain medications such as advil or naproxen.
