Tension-type headaches may be treated by a number of modalities such hot or cold packs, electrical stimulation, improvement of posture, trigger point injections, occipital nerve blocks, stretching, and relaxation techniques.
Drugs such as Ibuprofen, Naproxen, or combined drugs (Acetaminophen + Codeine, Acetaminophen +Tramadol) may be used also.
