Question : I accidentally gave my 12 mo old a double dose of cefprozil. She weighs a little over 22lbs. Gave her 5ml instead of 2.5ml. It’s been under 15 minutes since the dose. What should I do?
Brief Answer:
Within the tolerable range. Nothing needs to be done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Let me assure you that there is nothing to worry and even a double dose is not in the harmful range. So, there is no reason to worry and nothing needs to be done about it.
Feel free to write back.
