Question : what is the worst that can happen after a vasectomy
Brief Answer:
Failure of vasectomy is the worst complication.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Smiley and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i must assure that, vasectomy is a routine surgery.
It's successful in majority of people.
The worst complication of this minor surgery, is failure of a vasectomy.
That is, the vas deferens tube, isn't blocked and remains patent.
So the surgery is a failure and the purpose of doing it, hasn't been served.
Therefore, all patient's are advised to do a semen analysis, after 1 month.
This will confirm, that surgery is a success or a failure.
Hope you've cleared your doubt, regarding vasectomy.
