Question : Hi, i m 25 yrs old n married n trying to concieve. I had habit of eating slate pencils in childhood which later went away bt i have startes eating it again from past 6 months. Would this be harmful in conceving ? I eat mostly 4 to 5 pencils a day n i m nt a regular eater. Please guide me.

Eating slate pencil is not harmful per second. But it is unhygienic to eat them. Please stop eating. Tell your doctor about this who will start you on iron tablets which will reduce such craving.
