Question : I took a 500 mg. tablet of Cipro on an empty stomach, then vomited unexpectedly about 45-50 minutes later. So I'm wondering whether to wait 12 hours before taking another one, or to take another before that, which would seem to depend on whether that amount of time would be enough for the tablet to dissolve and pass out of the stomach. Thanks for any insight.

I have reviewed your information fully and there is no need to repeat the dosage as most of if it must have been absorbed 30mins after ingestion.

Avoid caffeine and antacids during treatment. Also, drink much water to stay properly hydrated.
