Brief Answer: Interactions and Curability. Detailed Answer: Dear Saroufim Thanks for reverting back, and following are the prescription drugs for you: i. XXXXXXX vati & hridyamrit vati & arjunarishta are CARDIOTONIC [giving strength to the muscles of the heart and also boost the immune system] ii. XXXXXXX vati & Ashvagandharishta are NERVINE TONIC [calming the mind] iii. As the prescription covers both the Psychosomatic part of pre-hypertensive problem thus will be very effective in controlling the symptoms. iv. .As you said you are pre hypertensive then take ‘mukta vati’ before breakfast and dinner (1 tablet), and will be more effective if it is chewed first and then water is taken. .If you have to take it for longer period of time, even then there is no harm, will cure associated insomnia as well as uneasiness. PS: i. use of “mukta vati” is related with nasal congestion and increase sensitivity to cold, if you experience the same, talk with your health care provider or revert back for prophylaxis of the same. ii. make sure both the "arishta" are taken with equal amount of water [daily twice] and after food and not on empty stomach. [Arjunarishta/Ashwagandha arishta: dose is as specified, not to be taken by diabetics as may raise blood sugar in them, high dose of ashwagandha arishta may cause stomach irritation [keep a check on your pulse rate, as low pulse can create problems sometimes] iii. take dietary precautions as explained earlier to prevent complications. [have a a regular check on the levels of lipids and cholesterol.] Dr. Munish Sood Naimittika
