You can get the infection by coming in contact with people who have the infection or contaminated surfaces.
So follow proper handwashing. Wear a face mask and hand sanitizer when outside the home. Limit being in close proximity to the public as far as possible.
Follow guidelines provided by the CDC and your local health authority.
